OBSTACLE MECHANIC

Moving Door Lock

The moving door lock travels to the next door in a fixed direction, locking each door it reaches.

How the Moving Door Lock works

The moving door lock travels to the next door in a fixed direction, locking each door it reaches.

It is one of the core obstacles you meet through the early and mid levels, usually alongside plain colored blocks and simple gates.

How to play around it

Track where the lock is heading and use the doors it has already passed.

Like every obstacle in the game, the moving door lock never makes a level impossible. Every board can be finished without boosters, so if a route feels blocked, the answer is usually the order in which you clear the other colors, not the obstacle itself.

Where you meet it

The Moving Door Lock typically starts appearing around Level 170 and stays part of the rotation from that point on. Boards that feature it become more frequent as the level numbers climb.
