How the Crate works
Crates can hide surprises, including bombs.
It is one of the core obstacles you meet through the early and mid levels, usually alongside plain colored blocks and simple gates.
How to play around it
Open crates while you still have room to react to whatever is inside.
Like every obstacle in the game, the crate never makes a level impossible. Every board can be finished without boosters, so if a route feels blocked, the answer is usually the order in which you clear the other colors, not the obstacle itself.
Where you meet it
The Crate typically starts appearing around Level 200 and stays part of the rotation from that point on. Boards that feature it become more frequent as the level numbers climb.
