How the Star works
Star blocks can only leave through star gates, although normal blocks may also pass through star gates.
It is one of the core obstacles you meet through the early and mid levels, usually alongside plain colored blocks and simple gates.
How to play around it
Reserve star gates for star blocks and route the normal colors through their own exits.
Like every obstacle in the game, the star never makes a level impossible. Every board can be finished without boosters, so if a route feels blocked, the answer is usually the order in which you clear the other colors, not the obstacle itself.
Where you meet it
The Star typically starts appearing around Level 40 and stays part of the rotation from that point on. Boards that feature it become more frequent as the level numbers climb.
